By this time now Scarlett has been through a lot. She has almost losted everything. Finally she has had enough and decided that this is not going to happen anymore. She will do what ever she has to do to just get by. Not only her but her family also. Scarlett knows that things have been hard but she is not going to take it anymore. She is so desperate she'll do anything. I think that takes courage.
Second Quote: I like this quote a lot, and i wish Scarlett would of listened to her father more. Scarlett gets so caught up in Ashley that, that is the only thing she truely cares for. She would do anything for him in a heartbeat. What Scarlett father is trying to stay is that people will come and go but this land that we own will always be here. This was where Scarlett grew up, so she can always come back home to it.
Third Quote: After Rhett leaves Scarlett she is heartbroken. At the sametime though she is determined to get him back. She stays so postive even though she is hurting pretty bad. I think that it takes a really strong person to be hurting but stay postive at the sametime. That is one reason i like this quote because Scarlett knows Rhett is something to fight for so that is what she is going to do.
